Glenn Mahnken, former senior vice-president of marketing and customer support with the Lutheran Church Extension Fund (LCEF), has joined Concordia Plan Services (CPS) as its chief marketing officer.
In his new post, he is responsible for the oversight of CPS education, communications, products and services.
Mahnken, 52, served LCEF for more than 12 years — including five years in his last position there. He also has marketing and management experience from positions at Pet, Pillsbury and Barilla America — all in St. Louis.
He received a Master of Business Administration degree in 1983 from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (1982) from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
He currently serves as president of the board of directors for Lutheran High School of St. Charles County, St. Peters, Mo.
Mahnken and his wife, Laura, have two sons and are members of Our Savior Lutheran Church in St. Charles.
