“Warriors of Faith — Military Men,” a new video-based Bible study from Lutheran Hour Ministries’ Men’s NetWork, addresses this reality.
“Warriors of Faith” was written by Chaplain Lieutenant Colonel Steven Hokana as a resource for ministry to veterans who are returning from a tour of duty and are wrestling with the effects of war.
“For those of us who have worn a uniform or continue to serve, we have ‘shared experiences’ that bind us together and make us unique,” Hokana says. “It is those shared experiences we are going to explore during our time together.”
In five video sessions Hokana shares insights and perspectives from his 28 years of experience in the U.S. Army. He reminds “warriors of faith” that God has called each of His children into a vocation and that — no matter what life throws at them — there is everlasting hope in Jesus.
