What a beautiful story of what good people can do when they get together to show the love of God through their combined efforts. Cemeteries are not only places to bury our dead and forget. They are places of hope; the hope that these saints, though dead, will rise again on the last day. They are places for us to visit and remember those buried there and think about how they touched our lives. They help us to focus on what this cemetery will look like when all who have long been resting in peace will rise with a victorious shout of victory and meet our Lord and Savior in the heavens.
Thank you fellow Lutherans. You touched all our hearts today.
May God be praised. Sherron Schiewe
