CPH to release new devotional for parents

In the new Concordia Publishing House book Blessings and Prayers for Parents, author Lisa Clark offers devotional readings to help parents focus on strengthening their faith through five main themes — joy, sorrow, fear, stress and peace.

“Parenting isn’t always perfect, happy or easy,” says Clark, a CPH copy editor, wife of a Lutheran pastor and mother of two young children. “I don’t think any parent can be an authority. There are different stages and types of parenting. No matter what stage you are in, or what your style, you can always seek help from God.”

The devotional may be used by parents with children of any age.
