The Rev. Aaron Vergin, pastor of Saint Mark Lutheran Church in Bloomfield, Mich., is among those featured in the “Support Future Servants” video produced by Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Ind., to address the burden of student debt. Vergin, who was a fourth-year seminarian when he was interviewed, said student debt can create feelings of anxiety, fear and doubt and be a “huge” spiritual — as well as financial — burden.
