Since the U.S. Supreme Court’s 1973 decision on Roe v. Wade legalized abortion on-demand, people have been gathering in Washington, D.C., every January to show their support for the sanctity of life.
Over the years, the March for Life has grown — from just a few dozen in 1974 to the half-million who are expected to join the 44th-annual event Jan. 27.
Jeanne Mancini, president of the March for Life Education and Defense Fund, will be Kip Allen’s guest on January’s “Free to be Faithful” program. During the program, Mancini will talk about plans for this year’s march, as well as the opportunities and stumbling blocks facing the pro-life movement nationwide.
The program will air at 2:30 p.m. (Central time) Jan. 18 on Worldwide KFUO, and will stream online at kfuo.org. (Click here to hear the recorded program.)
Allen moderates such “Free to be Faithful” discussions on Worldwide KFUO the third Wednesday of each month.
