A November 2017 Supplement to the Reporter highlights Eyes of Life, an initiative of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod to boldly give voice to what millions of others also believe: that all life, from conception to natural death, is sacred, valued and a gift from God.
By sharing honest stories on eyesoflife.org, people of the LCMS encourage each other and this world to see with eyes of life. Not every story is easy or even happy. Not every tale has a happy ending. Yet in each telling, God’s view of life encounters another person.
Life is a gift from God through His love in Christ. This precious gift is under attack in our world. In response, Eyes of Life is a proclamation of the goodness of life. Eyes of Life is a positive voice for life as God gives it.
