‘Reporter’ supplement: Pastoral Education — Let’s talk about church work

The supplement to the September 2022 Reporter talks about church work.

The Set Apart to Serve initiative is calling on the whole Synod to foster and encourage future LCMS church workers. Featured topics include:

• Descriptions of each of the ordained and commissioned LCMS church work roles;
• Information on what goes into church worker formation;
• Updates on Set Apart to Serve; and
• Discussion of the masculine Office of the Holy Ministry.

Together as a Synod, we can take up the task of raising up the next generation of workers for the Lord’s church.
