Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL), seeks candidates for the position of full-time admissions officer to recruit students for CSL’s advanced and distance studies programs (Deaconess, MA, STM, DMin, PhD), including recruiting both domestic and international applicants. The position will also be responsible for recruiting for other programs, especially the Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology and Center for Hispanic Studies.
Responsibilities include developing annual goals and written plans; implementing various individual and group events, both on and off campus; recruiting from the field through trips to meet prospective students; and fostering awareness of vocation and the process of discernment.
Qualifications
- Preferably a deaconess graduate of CSL. Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and its congregations and mission.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Skilled in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, PowerCAMPUS, Questionmark, and other technology as required and trained.
