A recent demographic study suggests that the LCMS will continue to lose membership over the next 10 to 15 years, Synod President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison told the Board of Directors during its Nov. 16–17 meeting. Harrison suggested several approaches to address the issue, including evangelization and the retention of current members. (Erik M.
