Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, is seeking a full-time senior administrative assistant to support the work of its Ministerial Formation office in forming pastors and church workers for service in the church. Reporting to the dean of Ministerial Formation, this position provides high‑level administrative support to multiple program directors and serves as a key point of coordination for residential and distance formation programs. Responsibilities include managing calendar and records, drafting correspondence, coordinating committees and events, supporting student communication and processes, and handling confidential information with professionalism and care.
The successful candidate will bring strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications. Experience as an administrative assistant in an academic environment — particularly in support of senior leadership — is strongly preferred. This role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively with faculty, staff and students, and contribute positively to a mission‑driven academic and ministry community.
