Television stations coast to coast will air animated holiday specials from Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) between Nov. 23 and Dec. 25.
“Little Shepherd” and “Red Boots for Christmas” will air on stations with a potential of reaching more than 55 percent of U.S. households. Select cities also will broadcast other LHM TV classics, including “The City That Forgot About Christmas,” “Christmas Is,” and “The Stableboy’s Christmas.”
Beginning Oct. 20, broadcast schedules for the holiday specials will be available online at www.lhm.org/broadcastinformation.asp. LHM will update the schedule weekly as new stations are added. Dates and times are subject to change by TV stations.
Commercials aired during the specials will refer viewers to a new Web site, “JCPlayZone” — at www.jcplayzone.com — that’s designed to engage children through games, crafts, recipes, and other activities in a safe, Christian environment. The Web site will be available beginning Nov. 24.
The Christmas specials also may be ordered from LHM’s Web site at www.lhm.org (click on “LHM Online Store,” then “DVD/Video Cassettes”). The programs are available in DVD and/or VHS formats, and range in price from $2.99 to $14.99 each. Shipping charges are extra.
