Concordia Publishing House in St. Louis has slashed prices by as much as 60 percent on more than two dozen Christ-centered books for children, youth, and adults.
Among sale items are:
- the Happy Easter board book (item no. 56-2390WEB) by Susan K. Leigh for children ages 2 to 5. The book, marked down from $4.99 to $1.98, is designed to acquaint young children with going to church, worshiping, celebrating with family and friends, and some traditions like hunting for Easter eggs.
- Is There Really Life After Death? (item no. 12-4057WEB) by James N. Watkins for teens ages 13 to 18. The book, marked down from $9.99 to $4.98, is designed to provide honest, compassionate and biblical answers to tough questions about life, death, grief, school shootings, reincarnation, ghosts, and the afterlife.
- Quiet Times with Jesus (item no. 12-4022WEB) by Jacqueline L. Loontjer, in paperback for adults. The $12.99 book, now offered for $4.98, offers 52 sometimes humorous devotions that are designed to help professional and volunteer teachers apply God’s Word to everyday classroom experiences.
- The Holy Land (item no. 17-7185WEB), a “pictorial pilgrimage through the land of Jesus,” originally $16.99, now offered for $6.98. The paperback features pictures of religious processions, church interiors, and historic sites such as Nazareth, Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the sea of Galilee, and the Jordan River.
