“Porn to Love: Ministering to Teens Dealing with the Lure of Pornography” is the title of a free webinar scheduled for noon to 1 p.m. Central time on Wednesday, June 21.
Sponsored by LCMS Youth Ministry, the webinar is offered as a support resource for professional and lay leaders who work with youth.
“In an age of instant accessibility, pornography can be found quickly and easily by youth and adults alike,” said the webinar’s presenter, Director of Christian Education (DCE) Grant Carey.
“During this webinar, we will tackle tough questions around the topic of pornography, provide insight for talking with youth about its dangerous effects, and encourage each other with the redeeming power of God’s love.”
Carey, associate DCE program director at Concordia University Texas in Austin, spoke on this topic to a teen audience at the 2016 LCMS Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
