Concordia University Chicago (CUC), River Forest, Ill., seeks nominations for the position of president. The president is the chief executive officer of the CUC Board of Regents and serves as the university’s spiritual, academic and administrative head.
The official functions of the president are described in the 2016 LCMS Handbook, section 3.10.6.6. Required and desired qualifications for this position may be found (after Jan. 1) at cuchicago.edu/presidential-search.
Submissions should be in keeping with the position description and must include the name, present position, telephone number and email address of the individual.
Additionally, submissions must include a paragraph which describes how the individual meets the qualifications described at the link above.
According to the LCMS Handbook, nominations may only be accepted from LCMS congregations, CUC faculty, the CUC board and the LCMS Concordia University System Board of Directors.
Nominations will not be accepted electronically and must be submitted (postmarked) in writing, on or before Feb. 15, to Dr. Dominic Salvino, regent and chairman of the Presidential Search Committee, Concordia University Chicago, 7400 Augusta St., River Forest, IL 60305.
