LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison wrote a letter to the U.S. Attorney General in defense of religious liberties. This letter is in concert with the work of several LCMS district presidents who have addressed officials concerning the role of government and the church.
The district presidents of Illinois wrote a letter to their governor regarding recent plans for reopening.

I am so grateful for Pastor Harrison having done so in regard to our God-given right to be free to be faithful not to mention that We are guaranteed that right in the Constitution of our United States of America’s.
Lift high the Cross the love of Christ proclaim!
At last! I am glad that President Harrison is standing up to this tyrany. We are losing our freedom of religion.
