The delegates of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) Southeastern District (SED) met May 8–9 in Richmond, Va., for their 40th regular convention. The Rev. Dr. William Harmon, Williamsburg, Va., was elected by acclamation on the first ballot to his second term as district president.

All elected officers were installed during the convention.
