The Rocky Mountain District (RMD) of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) met for its 53rd regular convention May 29–31 in Denver, Colo. The convention theme was “To the Ends of the Earth.”
Delegates elected the Rev. James Maxwell, Colorado Springs, Colo., on the first ballot to a second term as district president.
Also elected were:
- Rev. Jared Melius, Denver, Colo., to a second term as first vice-president;
- Rev. Jason Rust, Ruidoso, N.M., Southern Region, to a second term as second vice-president;
- Rev. Mark Nierman, Loveland, Colo., Eastern Region, to a second term as third vice-president; and
- Rev. Michael Redeker, Grand Junction, Colo., Western Region, to a second term as fourth vice-president.
All elected officers were installed during the convention.
