Rev. Larry Griffin, Janesville, Minn., second vice president.
Rev. Mark Tewes, Chaska, Minn., third vice president.

Seitz and the other officers were installed during the convention.
With the theme of “Transformed for His Mission” (based on Rom. 12:1-2), delegates to the 75th LCMS Minnesota South District convention voted to:
equip and encourage members to share Christ confidently. To help members focus their actions on outreach and develop relationships to bring people to Christ, the resolution encourages each member of district congregations to pray for at least three people who do not know Christ and find opportunities to witness to them.
encourage “church multiplication” as a way of “reaching new people for Christ.” The resolution urges new zeal in mission planting by asking each of the 24 circuits in the district to plant a new mission congregation or ministry.
declare “null and void” a resolution passed by the district board of directors requiring all English-speaking Minnesota South mission congregations to use Lutheran Service Book in their worship services.
accept as a member congregation in the Synod The Alley Lutheran Church of Cottage Grove, Minn. The district’s board of directors initially denied The Alley’s application for membership, which the congregation then appealed to the district convention.
direct the Minnnesota South District board of directors to organize a theological conference to primarily address women’s service in the church.
revise the district Handbook to ensure that the work of the District Nominating Committee will be more transparent for future district conventions.
