Both seminaries of The Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) will provide live, online coverage of their upcoming Call Day and Assignment services.
Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne (CTSFW), will hold its Call Day services April 26–27 at Kramer Chapel on the CTSFW campus:
- April 26, 7 p.m. EDT — Vicarage and Deaconess Internship Assignment Service
- April 27, 7 p.m. EDT — Pastoral Ministry Candidate Call Service
The Rev. Christopher S. Esget, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Alexandria, Va., and fifth vice-president of the LCMS, will preach on April 26, and the Rev. Terry Forke, president of the LCMS Montana District, will preach on April 27.
Both services will be livestreamed at callday.ctsfw.edu.
Concordia Seminary, St. Louis (CSL), will hold both of its Call Day services April 28 on the CSL campus in the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus:
- April 28, 3 p.m. CDT — Office of Vespers with Assignment of Vicarages and Internships
- April 28, 7 p.m. CDT — Service of Praise with Assignment of Calls
The Rev. Michael Lange, president of the LCMS California-Nevada-Hawaii District, will preach during the 3 p.m. service, and the Rev. Dr. Thomas J. Egger, CSL president, will preach during the 7 p.m. service.
CSL’s services will be livestreamed at csl.edu/live.
