Also elected were:

- Andrew Wehling, Lawrence, Kan., Region 1, elected to his first term as fourth vice-president.
All elected officers were installed during convention.
The convention theme, “Abiding in the Word,’ was drawn from John 8:31–32. Under this guiding theme, delegates adopted resolutions to:

- Cultivate a culture of life in the congregations and schools of the Kansas District;
- Plant congregations, schools and Lutheran early childhood centers in the district;
- Promote partnership in the Gospel among the congregations and institutions of the district; and
- Engage in witness and outreach training in Bible studies and workshops.
