The Rev. Dr. David Ludwig, a retired professor of Theology and Psychology at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C., presents a Parish Nurse Video Lecture Series program entitled “Faith and Wellness.”
Ludwig’s presentation provides a deep understanding of how the view of reality that comes from the new self in Christ actually is a blessing to a person’s physical, emotional, vocational and relational wellness.
The presentation also utilizes the “wellness wheel,” which many organizations of our church have adopted. Each aspect of the wellness wheel will be examined in a practical way to show how parish nurses can utilize a person’s faith in the wellness process.
