The LCMS Council of Presidents September meeting includes nine newly elected district presidents, as the council examines various ongoing efforts across the Synod.
The Rev. Dr. John R. Denninger of Springfield, Va., is elected to his second term as president of the LCMS Southeastern District during the district’s 37th Regular Convention.
“We need to be encouraging in every possible way those men who wish to prepare for the Office of the Ministry,” says LCMS Council of Presidents Placement Committee Chairman Rev. Kurtis D. Schultz.
