Slay, mayor of the city of St. Louis, has proclaimed July 20-25, 2013, as “The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS) Week.” The proclamation, issued as the church’s 65th Regular Convention begins, recognizes the contributions of the people of the LCMS to the region.
