Four new homes for the historic St. Louis neighborhood are part of an LCMS National Housing Support Corporation initiative.
The June 6 “Peace and Praise Walk” focuses on the need, efforts and potential to revitalize the North St. Louis neighborhood.
Dozens of people — including some 50 residents of the struggling community — come together for a “Prayer and Praise Walk” Oct. 17.
The grant will be used to purchase nine properties in College Hill, four miles north of downtown St. Louis, and perform demolition and site restoration.

ST. LOUIS, December 11, 2012 – The historic College Hill neighborhood on St. Louis’ north side is getting a $50,000 boost through a Wells Fargo grant program designed to help stabilize and revitalize neighborhoods hard-hit by the economy.
