LOUIS, July 22, 2013—Highlights of the second day of business at the 65th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod included actions by delegates to support expanded relationships with four Lutheran church bodies, affirm efforts to strengthen the church’s Global Seminary Initiative and elect Synod officers. Special presentations honored missionaries and celebrated the service of military chaplains.
