On Dec. 8, volunteers from the LCMS Central Illinois District, Lutheran Early Response Team and Lutheran Church Charities joined the cleanup effort in Taylorville, Ill., following an EF-3 tornado that struck the area on Dec. 1.
The LCMS Southeastern District and LCMS Disaster Response are working with congregations in the area to address both the physical and spiritual needs of those in the hurricane’s path.
