What we’re witnessing is not an outbreak of Christian morality. Nor is it the sudden, widespread successful use of contraception, as some have claimed. Women are still getting pregnant out-of-wedlock. But unlike in the past, there’s not much stigma attached to being an unmarried mother. It’s what Peggy Drexler at The Huffington Post once dubbed “The Juno Effect,” after the 2008 film about a snarky teen mother who chooses life but adopts her baby to another single mom.
Those chosen to serve as ambassadors will receive free transportation, lodging and meals for the fall conference in Washington, where they will hear speakers — and take part in discussions — on safeguarding marriage, life and religious liberty.
In just a few weeks, the Supreme Court is expected to rule on the legality of same-sex marriage in America and roll out the implications of that ruling for individual states. I expect the ruling to create an alleged constitutional right to same-sex marriage, contrary to God’s created orders, natural law and the inerrant Scriptures.

Thus, God’s left-hand kingdom—whether in ancient Greece and Rome, in Great Britain before our Revolutionary War, where our country traces its legal heritage and in this nation until very recently—has agreed with God’s right-hand kingdom concerning the conjugal view of marriage. It is this harmony between the left-hand kingdom’s view of marriage and the right-hand kingdom’s view that is hanging in the balance in the cases now pending before the Supreme Court.
