The ministries of early childhood, elementary and secondary Lutheran schools were highlighted today among a whopping 13 “Life Together” resolutions adopted by delegates.
On the opening day of business at the 65th Regular Convention of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, delegates heard a report from recently re-elected LCMS President Matthew C. Harrison, elected the Synod’s six vice presidents and voted on resolutions having to do with Life Together, Administration and Finance.
LCMS national mission work is alive and vibrant. Its focus remains Witness, Mercy, Life Together right here in the United States, and staff seek to do that work—from Disaster Response to School Ministry—under a new umbrella: “Strong Faith. Fervent Love.”
