The Rev. Derek Lecakes of Bayside, N.Y., was elected to his second term as president of the LCMS Atlantic District at the district’s 60th convention, held June 8–9 in Bronxville, N.Y.
The Rev. Peter K. Lange of Topeka, Kan., was elected to his second term as president of the LCMS Kansas District at the district’s 73rd convention, held June 7–9 in Topeka.

The Rev. Dwayne Lueck was elected on the first ballot to his third term as president of the North Wisconsin District at the district’s 52nd convention.

The Rev. Barrie E. Henke was elected to his fourth term as district president on the first ballot.
The Rev. Scott C. Sailer was elected to his second term as district president on the first ballot.
The Rev. Dr. Donald J. Fondow was re-elected president at the district’s 23rd convention, April 9–11 in Alexandria, Minn.
The Oct. 20 deadline may seem a long way off, but the time is now to submit nominations for the 74 officer, board and commission positions to be elected at the next LCMS Convention, July 20–25, 2019, in Tampa, Fla.
Also elected were the Rev. Kirk Peters of Hazen, N.D., as first vice-president, and the Rev. Steve Schulz of Fargo, N.D., as second vice-president.
