The 2020–21 “Chapel Talks” contains 43 devotions — one for each week of the school year — plus services for the beginning and ending of the school year and for Christmas.
Each day during the week of Jan. 27-31, chapel at the LCMS International Center in St. Louis will feature guest choirs from LCMS schools. The services are broadcast live on KFUO.

Dr. Rebecca Schmidt, former associate director of LCMS School Ministry, has accepted the call to serve as director, replacing Terry Schmidt (no relation), who retired July 2 after 15 years as director.
“Real. Present. God.” is the theme of the 2018–19 edition of “Chapel Talks for Lutheran Schools,” an annual worship resource from LCMS School Ministry.
The LCMS Council of Presidents (COP) met April 21–26, traveling from St. Louis to Fort Wayne, Ind., to place pastoral and commissioned candidates, elect new leadership and work through matters of ecclesiastical supervision.
